REVEALED: This is the cheapest day to fly out of the UAE

Have you started making travel plans for the new year? Well, whether you’re a travel enthusiast or have to travel on work, here’s some useful information that will help you plan your trip, and save big bucks! Online flight comparison flight Skyscanner has revealed an important piece of information that will help you bag the best deal. Read on and thank us later!

Data from Skyscanner revealed that Friday is the cheapest day to fly out of the UAE and the best fares can be found, on average, 21 weeks before flying.

The data was collected from flight reservations to Skyscanner’s most loved locations throughout the previous year. It was discovered that although rates varied depending on where passengers were going to and from and the time of year, Friday was frequently the less expensive day to fly.

For instance, Wednesday flights to Doha from Dubai are likely to be less expensive than Tuesday flights, whereas Tuesday flights from Sharjah to Qatar are likely to be less expensive.

While Fridays are often among the least expensive days of the week to travel, this might change based on the location and month of the year. For instance, Wednesdays are more affordable for travelers leaving Dubai for the Maldives in December than Thursdays are for those leaving in April.

On average, the ideal time to book a flight is 21 weeks prior to the travel date, but airfares from Dubai to London are best discovered 27 weeks in advance.

Flights from Abu Dhabi to London are frequently most affordable 23 weeks in advance.

Shorter-haul flights operate under different regulations once more, with some of the lowest prices for flights between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah being discovered five weeks before to departure.
