Convention on Climate Change (COP28): Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled a robust transit plan, in collaboration with the Office of the Special Envoy for Climate Change of the UAE and Expo City Dubai, to ensure the smooth movement of delegates and visitors during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
Transportation Across Zones

Diverse Transit Modes: Metro, Bus, and Taxis
The RTA has formulated technical plans encompassing various transit modes, including the Dubai Metro, Dubai Bus, and taxis at the site. The aim is to provide eco-friendly and easily accessible transportation options for attendees.
Invitation to Sustainable Travel
Under the theme ‘Way To Go,’ the RTA encourages participants and visitors to utilize public transportation. Special edition ‘nol’ cards have been introduced for COP28 delegates, allowing complimentary travel on public transport throughout the conference.
Extended Metro Hours and Enhanced Bus Routes

The RTA has introduced a fleet of biofuel-powered and electric buses, offering sustainable transit options. New bus routes connect key locations such as JBR, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, and more.
