The anticipation for the upcoming film ‘Project K’ is nothing short of palpable. With an all-star cast featuring some of the best actors in Indian cinema, such as Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Amitabh Bachchan, fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a groundbreaking movie with a unique blend of science fiction.
However, a recent development has thrown a wrench in the works. The team was recently in Hyderabad, diligently following their shooting schedule, but news of a shocking incident has come to light. It seems that the veteran Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan, has suffered an injury while filming ‘Project K’. As it turns out, while on set, Bachchan experienced a muscle tear in his right rib cage, causing him immense discomfort. This unfortunate turn of events has led to the suspension and cancellation of all work on the sets, for the time being.
The legendary actor took to his blog saying, “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured – rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, cancelled shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home. Strapping has been done and rest has been advocated. Yes, painful. On movement and breathing, will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur. Some medication is on also for pain.”
He further added, “So all work that was to be done has been suspended and cancelled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs.” Big B continued, “I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities, but yes in rest and generally lying around.” He also states his inability to greet his fans, “It shall be difficult or let me say I shall be unable to meet, the well-wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening. So do not come and do inform as much as you can to those that intend to come. All else is well.”
There is no doubt that the team will eagerly await Bachchan’s return to full health so that they can continue bringing their vision for ‘Project K’ to life.
With an impressive lineup of stars, Nag Ashwin’s latest directorial project, ‘Project K’, promises to be a sci-fi extravaganza. The movie is being simultaneously filmed in both Hindi and Telugu, adding to its appeal and broadening its potential audience.
