SALT Camp’s art-inspired pop-up is now open at Louvre Abu Dhabi

The Instagrammable pop-up Salt Camp will relocate after its stay at Dubai’s Museum of the Future to another creative space. Beginning on Friday, Louvre Abu Dhabi will offer the renowned burgers, soft-serve ice cream, and more of the brand, but with a creative twist.

The camp will consist of many pink tents that Salt has decorated with the interpretations of eight historical artists. The Art has Left the Frame campaign imagines what the subject of a certain painting, like the Mona Lisa, might do if it came to life.

The goal is to increase public access to art. To that purpose, the Salt Camp is open every day from noon to midnight from now until April 30 and has a separate entrance to the museum.

The menu has also been given an interesting makeover. The ice creams are packaged in interactive packaging that can be opened to reveal a secret message inside, giving the menu item a creative touch as well.

Additionally, customers can select from a variety of fries, charcoal-grilled corn, potato sticks, and chicken popcorn (from truffle to jalapeno and cheese-loaded). There are other alternatives like buffalo chicken, Wagyu Tabasco, and Japanese steak in addition to Salt’s renowned burgers.

Ice cream aside, foodies can also indulge in chocolate affogato, cinnamon buns, and cookie sundaes.
