In Pics: Here’s what Sharjah’s Floating Theater will look like

Is that a seashell? the theater? It is all of those things and more, in fact. The Sharjah Floating Theater has been revealed as the next major undertaking of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. Here’s what we know so far.

The stunning new theater, which has a capacity of 1,000 people, is expected to be one of the cultural highlights of the emirate.

The Kalba Corniche and the Arabian Gulf may be seen from the Sharjah Floating Theater, which is situated in Kalba. It has a distinctive form in typical UAE style. In this instance, the island has a seashell-like shape and is encircled by water basins. In addition to giving the project his blessing, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, also came up with the concept for the seashell shape.

Other upcoming attractions ins Sharjah

In addition, the Sharjah Ruler announced the opening of the Jabal Al Deem Rest House in Kalba. It will be situated at an altitude of 850 meters. On-site construction has already started.

The Al-Kitab Rest Project, a 1,000-villa Jabal Al-Kitab project in Kalba, is one of the area’s other emerging attractions. With the Sharjah Ruler having inspected the project earlier last year, work on the Al Hafiya Lake project is also going well.

Visitors can enjoy stunning v iews of the lake and its beautiful surroundings. However, there has been no formal announcement on the opening date as yet.
