36 Dishes, 11 kgs, The Shahenshahi Thali At India club Is dubai’s bIGGEST Thali

Let’s begin with a disclaimer- this one’s NOT for the weak-hearted! There are thalis and then there is the Shahenshahi Thali At India Club. Touted to be the largest in the UAE, this whooper thali consists of 35 dishes and weighs a whopping 11 kgs. To be precise, this thali is fit for a king, queen and all of their courtiers. Clearly, not for ones with a poor appetite!

What Is This Thali All About?

The king-sized thali features 36 authentic North Indian dishes and takes approximately 25-30 minutes to be assembled. Tuck into Rose Water, Chaas, 4 types of chutneys, 3 types of chaat, 3 types of pickles, 3 types of curd, salads, and roasted papads and chips.

That’s not all! The main course features Vegetable Biryani, Dal Tadka, Paneer Makhani, Paneer Butter Masala, Chana Masala, Meethi Aloo, Cabbage Thora, Kadhi, Grilled Veggies, Kebabs, and 3 types of bread. Finish off the elaborate meal with Gulab Jamun or Gajar Halwa.

But what’s even more interesting about thali is the way in which it is presented. Dubai does all thing in true style, and this one’s no exception. The thali is brought to your table by three men dressed in white outfit, gloves, and Rajasthani padgi. While two of them hold the thali, the third one rings the hand bell and also lights a sparkle on the table, which is a sign that now you can start eating.

So, grab your crew and get on the big binge!
