This restaurant in Dubai is giving away free meals during Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan is here and restaurants across the city have rolled out exciting Iftar plans. That aside, a few restaurants are also giving away free meals. This Ramadan, Chaiiwala of London, a restaurant in Dubai Hills Mall is giving away free meals for the delivery riders in the city. The noble deed will be happening throughout Ramadan.

During Ramadan, drivers tend to miss out on their meals at the expense of delivering meals to others. In order to ensure drivers get their due share, Chaiiwala is giving away free food to the delivery people every Friday from 6 pm to 12 am. Drivers must come with any form of ID or proof of occupation.

Ramadan is a good time to thank the blessings we’ve received and the UAE always makes it a point to prioritise charity and giving during this time of the year.

Chaiiwala was started in New Dehli in 1927 and has almost a century of history behind it. They have grown over the years to have more than 500 stores worldwide. The menu and the company’s ethos continue to be fundamentally based on tradition and authenticity.

And, this is not the first restaurant in the city to announce free meals during Ramadan. Dubai’s Rove Hotels will be giving away 1,000 meals to the hard-working delivery drivers across the city. Drivers who deliver at any Rove Hotel across the city, the week before Ramadan, will receive two complimentary Iftar vouchers. These vouchers can be redeemed for an Iftar buffet meal during the first seven days of Ramadan. Click here for more.

Abu Dhabi’s Bawabat Al Sharq Mall has also launched a Ramadan tent that will accommodate 100 underprivileged people every day. The tent will offer them a warm Iftar meal and the chance to share the Ramadan spirit with other community members. The initiative aims to throw light on the importance of social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan. Read the full article here.
