Bollywood’s spotlight is shifting to the younger generation, and among the rising star kids, Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of the late legendary actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, has become a name to watch. While her sister, Janhvi Kapoor, has already made a significant mark in Bollywood, it’s now Khushi’s turn to shine and showcase her acting prowess. Khushi is set to make her much-anticipated debut with Netflix’s “The Archies,” where she will be sharing the screen with other star kids like Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda, as well as other debutants.
Khushi Kapoor is B-town’s real life Betty Cooper, here’s how
In “The Archies,” Khushi Kapoor steps into the shoes of Betty Cooper, if you ever read the comic book you def know who she is, and as she transitions from reel to real, she’s sharing how her personality aligns with her debut role.
Ever experienced the frustration of lending a cherished item to a friend only to see it vanish from your life? Khushi Kapoor empathizes with you. When asked about such a situation, she playfully revealed, “I think Betty and I are pretty similar in this case, so I wouldn’t ask for it.” And here’s the twist, Khushi casually added, “I’d probably go out and buy a new one, though.” It’s a relatable scenario we’ve all encountered, showcasing the blend of Betty’s carefree attitude and Khushi’s practical approach.
Late nights and curfews are a classic teenage struggle. Surprisingly, Khushi and Betty seem to be on the same wavelength here too. While Betty might whip up an apology cake, Khushi opts to send a heartfelt apology text to her dad. How sweet is that?
Another striking resemblance between the two is their approach to friendships. Khushi Kapoor values her friendships with loyalty and understanding, mirroring Betty’s character traits.
