The fresh pairing of Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan is about to take over Bollywood. The two are all set to star in the movie Bawaal. Since news surfaced that the movie is going for an OTT release, fans can’t help but wait to watch it from the comfort of their own screens.
On Wednesday, June 5, the teaser of Bawaal dropped and let me tell you it’s not just heartwrenching, it’s shocking! We knew that the movie was based on war but, surely I did not expect this. Okay, before you think that it’s not worth it. Let me decode the teaser for you and give you the very reason to watch Janhvi Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s Bawaal.
About Bawaal’s teaser
As the teaser of Bawal begins it looks super romantic with Janhvi and Varun sharing eye contact and lovely moments. But due to some reasons (not clear in the teaser yet) the two part ways and it looks nothing less than heartwrenching. But that’s not all, this is when the shocker comes. Towards the end of the teaser we see Janhvi in a room full of men and even Varun is in there. While she looks out for Varun in the crowded room, the scene uncovers that they are stuck someplace like a gas chamber and that’s when the teaser ends.
It has left me in an ocean of suspense. Bawaal looks very interesting and I can’t wait to know what happens next. The teaser and poster already mentioned “war” so there’s certainly a connection. But, what’s the war connection? Is Varun an army man or do they get stuck in a war-like situation? It is reported that the movie will be set in the backdrop of World War II. We only get to know on July 21 – that’s when the movie will release.
The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It will stream on amazon prime video.
