samosas to rolls, & cupcakes; this dubai cafe serves ‘Grab n Go’ snacks for under AED 15

Nothing refreshes like a steaming hot cup of chai- agree? And when we say chai, it ought to be accompanied with something hot, spicy and crunchy. Well, Dubai has a lot of pit-stops that will let you enjoy a quick chai break. But, we’ve discovered a spot in Karama that serves the best ‘grab n go’ snacks. Say hello to Essentials by Golden Chariot in Karama! Here’s what you must know about this hidden secret in the city.

Firstly, this is a no-frills cafe- and that means you clearly cannot expect fancy dining area or a great ambiance. But, the food is to die-for! The ‘Grab n Go’ Urban themed cafe takes you back to your childhood with lip-smacking dishes. Ask any Dubai-aite and they’ll tell you what an ’emotion’ Oman Chips is. Well, this cafe serves Dubai’s favourite Fuego parantha for just AED 5. A Taco like parantha, this one’s stuffed with Oman chips, Cheetos, Chilli sauce and cheese – So good!

Cheetos lovers can try Arbab (AED 7.50)- a parantha which is loaded with crispy Cheetos, and dynamite chicken or the Cheetos Mac and Cheese. If you’re the kind (just like us) who likes your karak with something hot and crispy, try their cheese samosas, or spring rolls (4 pieces for AED 10) with the dynamite dip. And the best bit- you get 10 samosas for just AED 9!

In addition, the menu has a list of whole other yummilicious eats ranging from pizzas muffins to bruschetta, Fuego, chicken wraps, sliders, mushroom pies, kebabs and much more for under AED 5.

And now, to finish off with something sweet go for their cupcake (AED 5), sugar sprinkled bun (AED 3), Lotus cupcake (AED 5) or fresh cream pastries for just AED 6. Wash it all down with a Zafran chai, coffee, Sulaimani chai, hibiscus tea or opt for something cold- they’ve got Dalgona coffee, lemonade, or a rose sparkle.
