The Al Bateen Ladies Club in Abu Dhabi welcomed guests on January 21, 2024, unveiling a dazzling makeover after extensive renovations. Managed by the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi, the club, cherished for its history and commitment to creating a special space for women and children, has emerged as a dynamic health and recreation hub.

The revamped club now offers a range of top-notch facilities, tailored to meet the community’s changing needs. These include a children’s club, padel clubhouse, private beach, swimming pool, retail and dining outlets, spa, fitness and wellness facilities, beauty salon, lounge area, events space with an outdoor cinema, and a fully equipped gym and studios.
Hamda Abdulla Al Hashmi, Acting Director of the Urban Design Division at DMT, expressed her pride, saying, “Al Bateen Ladies Club has been a vital part of Abu Dhabi’s cultural fabric. The renovations aim to preserve its rich history while introducing modern elements to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic community.”
