Fans can mark their calendars, as ‘Mission Raniganj’ is all set to hit theaters next month.

The motion poster offers a glimpse of the intense rescue operation that unfolded deep within the 350-foot coal mine. Akshay Kumar, portraying the heroic Jaswant Singh Gill, emerges as the central figure leading the daring mission to rescue the trapped miners.
In ‘Mission Raniganj,’ Akshay Kumar steps into the heroic shoes of Jaswant Singh Gill, who led a coal mine rescue mission in the ‘Raniganj Coalfield.’ The film draws inspiration from a true incident that took place in November 1989 when a coal mine in Raniganj got flooded, trapping miners underground. Despite daunting challenges, a successful rescue mission unfolded in Bharat (India).
