Gangubai Kathiawadi to Sardar Udham: 69th National Film Awards complete winner list

For the whole Indian film fraternity, it was an exciting day on 24th August 2023 as the government of the Government Of India announced the winners of the 69th National Film Awards. While other awards are also prestigious, getting acknowledged by the government itself is on the next level. Several Hindi films emerged as the triumphant stars of the evening.

Notably, RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Sardar Udham shone the brightest at the 69th National Film Awards, with multiple accolades gracing their already illustrious journeys. RRR clinched an impressive six awards, showcasing its cinematic brilliance, while Gangubai Kathiawadi and Sardar Udham were not far behind, each securing five coveted awards. These wins not only underscored their cinematic prowess but also celebrated their contributions to Indian cinema.

The acting category of the 69th National Film Awards was equally enthralling, with three out of the four awards claimed by actors from Hindi cinema. Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, and Allu Arjun, all exceptionally talented artists, received their first National Awards this year. Their dedication and remarkable performances have earned them a place in the annals of Indian cinematic history.
