5 Upcoming Projects In Abu Dhabi You Must Look Forward To

UAE is coming with some mega record-breaking projects, and all of them promise to elevate the standard of luxury, architecture, style and adventure. From the 3D Mosque in Bur Dubai to Armani Beach Residences in Palm Jumeirah, a lot is coming up in Dubai. In fact, not only Dubai, but UAE’s Abu Dhabi is also launching some mega projects in the coming years; here are five upcoming projects in Abu Dhabi that we are excited about.

1. Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences

Louvre Abu Dhabi is the epitome of culture, arts and creativity, and soon it’s going to launch its residences as well. Developers Aldar have announced the Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences project, and once ready, the residential complex will house 400 apartments, with an iconic address, spectacular ocean views and more. The residences will also have a lounge- Le Salon Détente, a 12-seater Cinema Privé for a private theatre experience, a wellness centre, an indoor kids’ playroom and more. The AED10 billion project will also have some retail and entertainment attractions. Set to launch in 2025, we cannot wait to see the final project.

2. Nobu Hotel and Beach Club

After stealing our hearts in Dubai, the iconic and world-famous Nobu is all set to take over Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi residents will get to experience Nobu hospitality in a much more luxurious way, as the brand will be opening a restaurant, a beach club, a luxurious hotel and chic residences on the Mamsha beach on Saadiyat island in 2026. In a partnership between Nobu Hospitality and Aldar Properties, the beachfront hotel aims to offer guests an ultra-luxurious experience and pamper them with nothing but the best. From a luxurious daytime clubbing experience to a rooftop Nobu Villa staycation, a lot of things are in the pipeline.

3. Sea World, Abu Dhabi

The first SeaWorld outside of North America is set to open in Abu Dhabi on May 23rd. Touted to be the region’s first Marine Life Theme Park, featuring eight immersive realms with over 15 interactive experiences and rides, over 100 animal experiences and presentations, including up-close animal encounters. Furthermore, it will have more than 20 live characters and performances, 17 dining options, 13 retail outlets and roaming entertainment across each realm.

4. Snow Abu Dhabi

Once launched, it will become UAE’s favourite family-friendly attraction. Snow Abu Dhabi will be one of the world’s largest indoor snow parks and offer 12 exhilarating rides and 17 new and exciting attractions spread over 10,000 square feet. With a temperature of minus 2°C and a snow depth of 500 mm, visitors can expect two giant slides, rides and varied dining options. Opening in Reem Mall, we can’t wait to experience this once it opens.

5. Mondrian Abu Dhabi

Mondrian Abu DhabiAbu Dhabi’s hotel scene is all set to get an elevated luxury experience as Mondrian Hotels is set to open in Abu Dhabi in 2024. It will be located on the canal front in Downtown Abu Dhabi and will have visually stunning collection of rooms and suites and lip-smacking dining options. Mondrain Hotels is known to offer the best of luxury, and we can’t wait for it to open.
