Monsoon Mayhem Hits ‘welcome to the jungle’ Sets
The torrential Mumbai rains didn’t just wash away our weekend plans – they wreaked havoc on the massive set of “Welcome to the Jungle.” Director Ahmed Khan and producer Firoz Nadiadwallah had meticulously crafted this colossal setup to kick off a marathon shoot featuring a whopping 34 lead actors. Just when the cameras were about to roll, the heavens opened up and delivered a not-so-welcome surprise.
Despite this soggy setback, the team is pulling all-nighters to rebuild the grand set. Ahmed Khan, always the optimist, has decided to resume shooting as soon as the reconstruction is complete. He shared, “It’s unfortunate that a part of the set got damaged due to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai. As a creative call, I’ve decided to begin the shoot once the set is ready. The crew is tirelessly working on rebuilding it, and hopefully, we will begin the shoot soon.”
Comedy Powerhouse Cast
“Welcome to the Jungle,” presented by Base Industries Group, boasts a star-studded ensemble that promises double the fun and chaos. With Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, and Mika Singh on board, laughter is guaranteed. While Sanjay Dutt was initially part of the cast, he had to step back due to health reasons.
