The film is scheduled for release later this month, and the first song has already taken the airwaves by storm.

Vicky Kaushal gets introduced as Bhajan Kumar

In an intriguing twist, Yash Raj Films recently unveiled that the much-anticipated singing sensation, Bhajan Kumar, is none other than the versatile Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal himself! Vicky assumes the persona of Bhajan Kumar, a local singing sensation, in YRF’s upcoming theatrical release, “The Great Indian Family” (TGIF). The big reveal was accompanied by the launch of the film’s first song, “Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja,” which marks Vicky’s grand entrance into the world of Bhajan Kumar.

Vicky Kaushal has killed it in his moves and you’ll certainly love his sanskari look in this song. He is introduced as the ‘King of Bhajans’ and we can’t wait to witness is magic in this new role.

“The Great Indian Family” (TGIF) marks the first creative collaboration between Yash Raj Films and Vicky Kaushal, under the direction of Vijay Krishna Acharya. The catchy song, “Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja,” has been masterfully composed by the maestro Pritam and features lyrics penned by the prolific Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The Great Indian Family stars Vicky opposite Manushi Chhillar and it has a release date of September 25, 2023. The film also features an ensemble cast including actors Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit and Bhuvan Arora. It is produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. All said and done, we are now eagerly waiting for the trailer to release.
