John Abraham is back, and he’s not just flexing his muscles, he’s mentoring a rising star in “Vedaa”! Fresh off his role as the ultimate antagonist in “Pathaan,” John is back to kick some serious butt and bring the heat in this epic action drama.
The trailer for “Vedaa,” which hit the web on August 1, is nothing short of a jaw-dropper. John Abraham, ever the action maestro, is not just playing a hero but stepping into the role of a mentor. Vedaa Trailer Drops: Intensity Meets Inspiration
The trailer kicks off with John Abraham’s character, Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, dropping wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita. He unleashes his fighting fury. With a line like, “Whenever there will be decay in righteousness, he will defend Dharma,” John is clearly stepping into a role that’s as philosophical as it is fierce.
Then we have the villain, Abhishek Banerjee, who’s the poster child for everything that’s wrong with the caste system. His chilling proclamation, “I believe in the caste system and abide by it,” sets up a classic clash with Sharvari Wagh’s Vedaa. She is ready to upend the old guard with her bold question. “If the caste system is everything, then why do we need laws and a constitution?” she asks.
As the oppressed villagers search for their champion, they find their way to Major Abhimanyu Kanwar – John’s character who’s been kicked out of the army for, get this, disobedience. He’s now training Vedaa in martial arts and boxing to arm her against the societal bullies. The trailer showcases some serious action choreography that proves both John and Sharvari have got the moves.
