Co-founders Islam and Sneha created the concept store as a way to encourage individuals to try and learn diving in a way that is safe and unintimidating, as well as to help avid divers develop their existing skillset.

“I always loved the ocean, and always gravitated towards the sea as a toddler. However, for the longest time, I didn’t know how to swim. Thankfully Dubai changed that for me. When I tried diving for the first time, I knew there was no going back. I love to teach swimming and diving, especially to individuals like myself, who have spent the majority of their life not knowing how to swim or dive. It is so fulfilling to see a non-swimmer become a full-fledged diver.” said co-founder, Sneha. “With DiveCampus, I would also love to encourage more women to try diving,” said Co-founder of DiveCampus, Sneha.

Enroll in courses & explore UAE’s best diving spots via diveCampus

Given the size and depth of the ‘Dive Tank’, DiveCampus is able to provide an array of courses from beginner to professional level. Beginners are invited to do a ‘Try Dive’, where they can enjoy a one-hour scuba diving experience, whereas certified divers can book ‘Dive Tank’ or diving trips at their leisure.

To put theory into practice, the academy arranges frequent day trips to the best diving spots in the UAE, from Fujairah to Ras al Khaimah. A group is picked up from DiveCampus, driven to the destination, and then brought back to use any of the facilities.

“The mastery behind scuba diving and free diving all comes down to safety and the preparation that has gone in during the training. DiveCampus serves as a venue where you can solidify your foundation in an environment that eliminates all variables, so you are able to focus on your skills, gear, and form. Our focus is to give individuals of all skill levels an opportunity to pursue diving through quality and bespoke training, with the goal of helping them to become good, safe divers whilst having fun” said Co-founder of DiveCampus, Islam.

With a combined experience of over 20 years, the team at DiveCampus consists of a Course Director, Master Scuba Instructor, Specialty Instructors, and Swim Instructors, all accredited by PADI. Doors are also open for independent instructors that are looking to utilise the ‘Dive Tank’ and DiveCampus facilities to host their private clients.

“UAE has become a hub for both recreational and technical diving enthusiasts and Instructor Development Programs, it’s exciting to see concepts like DiveCampus that are focused on encouraging more people to adopt and train for this exciting sport,” said Firas Jundi, PADI EMEA – Regional Manager. PADI is the world’s leading scuba diver training organisation.

DiveCampus always provides clear guidance on what to expect during the dive, along with bespoke training to each individual’s comfort level and promising comprehensive safety precautions. Each class has an optimum Student to Instructor Ratio, to ensure maximum attention on each individual to make them the best diver they can be. Most importantly, it is a place where you can dive right in, make incredible memories, and have fun.

Packages start at AED 200, and PADI certification courses start at AED 1,207.
