uAE residents can now fly to oman for just AED 59

Well, while AED 59 is the cost of a one-way trip to Oman, a round trip will still cost you only AED 118. That’s definitely a steal deal- isn’t it? Wizz Air is currently offering flights from Abu Dhabi to Oman for just AED 59. But, if you’re up to exploring Muscat as well, the 75 minute flight from Abu Dhabi will cost you AED 79 for one-way, or AED 158 for a return trip.

The ticket cost includes a carry-on bag that must fit under the seat. However, if you can buy an extra baggage of 20kgs for AED 472 on flights to Salalah and AED 473 on flights to Muscat.

Online flight comparison flight Skyscanner has revealed an important piece of information that will help you bag the best deal. 

Data from Skyscanner revealed that Friday is the cheapest day to fly out of the UAE and the best fares can be found, on average, 21 weeks before flying.

The data was collected from flight reservations to Skyscanner’s most loved locations throughout the previous year. It was discovered that although rates varied depending on where passengers were going to and from and the time of year, Friday was frequently the less expensive day to fly.

For instance, Wednesday flights to Doha from Dubai are likely to be less expensive than Tuesday flights, whereas Tuesday flights from Sharjah to Qatar are likely to be less expensive.

While Fridays are often among the least expensive days of the week to travel, this might change based on the location and month of the year. For instance, Wednesdays are more affordable for travelers leaving Dubai for the Maldives in December than Thursdays are for those leaving in April.

On average, the ideal time to book a flight is 21 weeks prior to the travel date, but airfares from Dubai to London are best discovered 27 weeks in advance.

Flights from Abu Dhabi to London are frequently most affordable 23 weeks in advance.

Shorter-haul flights operate under different regulations once more, with some of the lowest prices for flights between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah being discovered five weeks before to departure.
