Tesla Roadster UAE Reservations Open: AED 210,000 to Book

Quick answer

  • Tesla has opened Tesla Roadster UAE reservations on its UAE website, with an AED 20,000 payment due on the day you book that Tesla describes as fully refundable.
  • Reserving the Performance version of the Tesla Roadster in the UAE needs a further AED 190,000 within 10 days, for a total reservation payment of AED 210,000.
  • Reserving the limited release Thrust version of the Tesla Roadster in the UAE needs a further AED 1,000,000 within 10 days, for a total of AED 1,020,000.
  • Tesla has not published a UAE price for the Roadster itself or a delivery date on its UAE website.

Tesla now takes Tesla Roadster UAE reservations through its UAE website, offering a road ready Performance version by reservation and a limited release Thrust version. The news matters to UAE sports car and EV buyers who want a place in the queue, but the payment terms are large and worth reading closely before you pay.

What Tesla announced for Tesla Roadster UAE buyers

The new Roadster now has its own page on Tesla’s UAE website with a Reserve Now button. Tesla lists three versions of the car, and two of them can be booked from the UAE site today. The reservation payment is split into an amount due on the day and a much larger balance due within 10 days.

Tesla says the Thrust version can go from 0 to 100 km/h in under 1 second. For the Rocket version, Tesla notes that it is not approved for public road use and that the Rocket trim is not available in all regions.

What the new Roadster offers

Tesla describes the Roadster as a pilot’s car built around downforce. Its multi mode fan and ground sealing system pulls air out from under the car, and Tesla claims this creates enough suction to hold the vehicle upside down, even when it is standing still. Powered fans and active wings are designed to add grip and cornering speed, and a Track Mode lowers the car and changes the suspension.

  • Steer by wire with a yoke designed specifically for it
  • A centre touchscreen plus two smaller forward displays for driving information
  • Lightweight materials including magnesium, titanium and carbon fibre, with a fixed seat position to save weight
  • Hidden headlights, a full length taillight and flush mounted aerodynamics
  • Ano White paint, gold tinted glass and an Ultrawhite interior with gray microsuede

Tesla notes that the features and specifications on its Roadster page reflect the Thrust augment, which is an optional upgrade. You can follow every new model arriving in the country on our UAE car launches 2026 tracker.

What it means for drivers in the UAE

The headline numbers are reservation payments, not the price of the car. Tesla has not published a UAE price for the Roadster or a delivery date on its UAE website, so anyone who books is paying to join the queue rather than buying a car at a fixed price.

The terms shown on the UAE reservation page are short but important:

  • A reservation is not final until Tesla receives the payment.
  • The reservation can be cancelled if the balance is not paid within 10 days.
  • Tesla describes the AED 20,000 paid on the day as fully refundable, but the page does not say whether the 10 day balance is refundable.
  • Refunds for modifications will not be issued.
  • Availability is subject to each region’s legal requirements and applicable laws.

Practical tips before you reserve

  • Read the full reservation terms on the Tesla UAE site before you pay, especially the rules on refunds for the 10 day balance.
  • Check your card limit with your bank first, as the balance runs to AED 190,000 for Performance and AED 1,000,000 for Thrust.
  • Keep the confirmation email and a copy of the terms shown on the day you book.
  • Remember that the Rocket version is not approved for public road use, so only Performance and Thrust are relevant for UAE road driving.
  • Plan for home or work charging, and look out for the RTA’s EV World 2026 show in Dubai in November if you are comparing electric cars.
