In a shocking turn of events, on 13th December the actor recently commenced shooting for his upcoming project, “Welcome To The Jungle.” After which on thursday i.e. 14th December he faced a health scare as he suffered a heart attack in the evening after returning home from the sets.
Shreyas Talpade’s suffers a heart attack
The actor had just wrapped up his day of shooting and returned home, expressing feelings of unease to his wife. Without wasting any time, he was swiftly taken to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, Mumba, India where he collapsed on the way. Shreyas underwent immediate angioplasty, highlighting the severity of the situation.
According to an anonymous source, Shreyas had been filming for “Welcome To The Jungle” throughout the day, maintaining a positive and lively demeanor on set.
The source stated, “He shot through the day, was absolutely fine and joking around with everyone on the set. He even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. She rushed him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way.” The hospital also confirmed the news. They said, “Shreyas Talpade is admitted, he was brought late in the evening. His health update is awaited.”

In September this year, producer Firoz A Nadiadwallah announced the third part of the Welcome franchise. The film is titled Welcome To The Jungle and marks the return of Akshay Kumar with an ensemble cast. It also features Shreyas, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev and singers-brothers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh.
