A caller, traced to Raipur, made a shocking threat demanding Rs 50 lakh. And here’s the twist – the accused claims he’s innocent, saying his lost phone was the real culprit!

Shah rukh khan Faces Ransom Call as Police Chase the Caller

Mumbai’s Bandra Police Station reportedly received the threat call aimed at Shah Rukh Khan. The unknown voice demanding a whopping Rs 50 lakh or face consequences. The call came in on November 5, just days after SRK’s birthday!

The call trail led to Faizan Khan in Raipur, who insists he’s no mastermind. According to Faizan, he lost his mobile phone on November 2. He did not know of any threats made from his number. He’s filed a complaint of his own, claiming someone else made the call after his phone went missing.

Mumbai Police are pulling out all the stops, coordinating with Raipur authorities to track down the caller. They are waiting to verify Faizan’s story. As per News18 reports, Faizan filed a police complaint on the same day. He stated, “Someone misused my lost number and made this threat call. Mumbai police came today morning and recorded my statement. Mumbai police told me that a threat call has been made from your number, I told them I lost my mobile on November 2 and complaint has been made in local station.”

The authorities have registered an FIR under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the BNS. It focuses on charges of criminal intimidation and inducing fear.

Earlier, even Salman Khan faced a fresh death threat from Lawrence Bishnoi gang. They had demanded a cool Rs 5 crore from the superstar to “bury the hatchet.”
