Middle East’s largest food Hall with live entertainment is coming to dubai

Foodies, we’ve got some delicious news! Dubai is flooded with the best when it comes to restaurants and cafes and now there’s a new addition to this grand list. The Middle East’s largest food court is set to open in Dubai’s Festival City Mall. Market Island, spanning 70,000 square metres, will open to foodies on 20 December, 2023.

Market Island represents the culmination of the work of the Zemsky Group, one of Russia’s most prominent institutions in the field of commercial real estate for the food and beverage sector. The group, which has more than 150 projects in 16 cities around the world, has chosen Dubai Festival City Mall to launch its groundbreaking and globally recognized concept for food and beverages in the UAE.

The new food hall will have 53 sites for gastronomic experiences and will serve a variety of dishes from various international cuisines. Market Island can accommodate more than 3,500 seats, and includes many food stations and designated spaces, as well as lounges and beverage corners, including the UAE’s first licensed drinks corner.

Aside from international culinary experiences, the new food hall will also serve as a tourist and entertainment destination, where visitors can enjoy live entertainment activities such as unique musical performances and live shows by most prominent DJs.

Haitham Hajjar, General Manager of Al-Futtaim Shopping Centers Group in the UAE, said: “We are pleased to cooperate with the Zemsky Group to open Market Island, the first food hall of its kind, in Dubai Festival City Mall, and we affirm our commitment to providing exceptional food, beverage and entertainment experiences, to meet the aspirations of our customers, which are Our main priority in the Al-Futtaim shopping malls group, and we are proud to provide an upscale space that combines dining and entertainment experiences, and includes a wide choice of different culinary concepts.”
