Louis Vuitton launches first Dubai City Guide with colourful pop-up in the DIFC

Looking for a cool Dubai guide? Well, if you wish to pick a fancy one, Louis Vuitton has something. The famous fashion label has launched its first Dubai city guide. For 25 years, the luxury brand has published explainers for global destinations and now, it’s releasing its first for a Middle Eastern city.

Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion house, has released a Dubai edition of its Louis Vuitton City Guide series, making the UAE city the first in the Middle East to receive its own edition.

To mark the occasion, the brand set up a pop-up shop in Dubai International Financial Centre’s Gate Village.

The gorgeous, dusky pink installation perfectly blends with the cover of the Dubai City Guide. You definitely cannot miss this one! The installation will be on display until March 17.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the Dubai guide that retails for AED 170. The Louis Vuitton City Guide series has explored 30 of the world’s metropolises for the past 20 years, taking an unconventional look at local fashion, design, contemporary art, food, and culture.

Each guide invites writers and guests from a variety of backgrounds to provide their subjective opinions on the most beautiful hotels, best restaurants, oddest shops, and most famous historic sites.

 “Dubai is now a superlative city focused on the future, being designed and built at a frenetic pace,” reads a statement on the brand’s website. “From gravity-defying towers and fountains with spectacular Wagnerian displays to hidden corners and places off the beaten track, the city is constantly on the move.” 

“Galvanized with energy, Dubai relishes seemingly impossible challenges, like creating a huge sail on an artificial island – the Burj Al Arab, rapidly becoming the country’s emblem,” added the statement.  

The guide is also available online and in bookstores worldwide, with a version available on the City Guides App on Apple.
