In a recent interview, Suniel Shetty confirmed Dutt’s involvement in the project, speaking effusively about the actor’s talent and how he’s set to elevate the film to new heights. Shetty said, “Sanjay Dutt’s comic timing and body language are simply unbelievable. With him on board, the film is sure to be a laugh riot. We share a fantastic relationship, and that chemistry will shine through on the screen. Sanju Baba is going to add another layer of brilliance to this project.”
‘Hera Pheri’ fans were left crestfallen last year when reports surfaced that Akshay Kumar might not feature in the next instalment of the beloved series, with the actor himself confirming his departure from the project. However, much to the delight of fans, Akshay Kumar has made a triumphant return to the franchise. Suniel Shetty, who plays the iconic character of Shyam Bhai, in the series, emphasized that Akshay Kumar is the only actor who can do justice to his role of Raju and that no one else could replace him. Suniel also revealed that he had personally tried to convince Akshay Kumar to prioritize ‘Hera Pheri’s’ next chapter, to which the superstar heartily agreed.
Assuring fans that the third part of Hera Pheri will be a rollercoaster of emotions and laughter, just like the first part, Shetty said, “The first part had strong themes of common man struggles and their emotions. I firmly believe that the new Hera Pheri will be a success only if it captures the right emotions.” We can’t wait for the movie to hit the theatres because the wait was certainly long for this part!
