Flydubai Partners with Malaysia’s Batik Air

Unlocks Access to 40+ Destinations for UAE Travelers

Flydubai has partnered with Malaysia’s Batik Air to offer UAE travelers access to over 40 new destinations in Southeast Asia, including Jakarta, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Osaka, with a single ticket.

A New Era of Seamless Travel for UAE and Malaysian Markets

This interline partnership enables flydubai and Batik Air passengers to book flights across both airline networks with a single booking, simplifying their travel experience. With through-checked baggage services, passengers can now explore international destinations without the hassle of re-checking bags during transit. This benefits long-distance travelers by eliminating the need to re-check luggage at each stop.

Through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) as the primary connecting hub, this collaboration expands Flydubai’s reach into Southeast Asia, a region known for its rich culture and vibrant cities. Passengers flying with Batik Air now also have direct access to 38 destinations across Flydubai’s network, including Istanbul, Milan, Prague, and Cairo—creating an unparalleled global travel network.

Flydubai’s Expanded Reach into Asia

This new agreement supports Flydubai’s broader vision of growth in Southeast Asia. With direct flights to Langkawi and Penang, flydubai meets the travel demand between UAE and Malaysia. Now, with Batik Air onboard, flydubai offers UAE travelers a gateway to explore iconic destinations in Asia and the Pacific. The new agreement bridges the gap between cultures and regions, giving travelers more choices and convenient connections than ever.

Destinations Accessible Through This Partnership

  • For flydubai Passengers: Access to over 40 destinations, including vibrant cities in Asia such as Jakarta, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Osaka.
  • For Batik Air Travelers: Direct connections to 38 destinations across Flydubai’s network, covering regions in Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

This partnership redefines convenience for travelers, as both airlines prioritize seamless connectivity and easy access to popular global destinations. By combining flydubai’s established network with Batik Air’s extensive routes in Asia, the collaboration opens up opportunities for cultural exchange and global exploration.

Flydubai’s New Routes: Convenience Meets Adventure

As flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith emphasized, this partnership with Batik Air expands travel options for UAE residents and tourists. With a modern Boeing 737 fleet, flydubai brings new destinations within easy reach. Batik Air’s CEO Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said this milestone simplifies travel and opens doors to exploring landmarks and wonders.
