You can now enjoy Emirates’ Customized Iftar & Suhoor from the comfort of your home

Its one thing to fly any other airlines, and its a completely different thing to fly Emirates- right? Well, we love Emirates for multiple reasons- the leg room, the safety, timings etc, but one thing we cannot discount is the food served by Emirates Flight Catering. And, this Ramadan the airline has launched a new initiative in which you can enjoy Emirates’ flight food from the comfort of your own home. Foodies, you’re gonna love this. Read on to find out more.

This Ramadan, the Emirati Kitchen concept from Emirates Flight Catering has launched a private dining service which caters to every host and occasion. So, if you’re planning an Iftar or Suhoor with your family and friends, this one’s going to be the icing on the cake.

The Iftar and Suhoor menus are carefully curated by Michelin star and Award-winning chefs, bringing to table rich Emirati flavours. Besides, you can also customize the menu to cater to any taste and dietary requirement. The specially curated Ramadan menus feature lavish iftar and suhoor options, including live-cooking stations, which you can enjoy in your own private dining space. Hosts can expect a seamless experience where every detail is managed with the utmost care.

Hosts can order from a whole range of hot and cold foods available on the menu. Well, we’re sure your Iftar and Suhoor gatherings will only get even more delicious and memorable with Emirates’ customized menus.

Emirates Launches In-Flight Iftar Meal Boxes For Ramadan

To ensure that fasting passengers travel with ease and comfort during the holy month of Ramadan, Emirates Airlines has launched thoughtful, nutritionally-balanced iftar meal boxes. Fasting passengers across all cabin classes to select Emirates destinations will receive this box. The meals will be served in the box designed by Emirates to represent the rich Emirati heritage of the Al Sadu weavers.

The meal box will include small portions and starters like hummus and spinach bil zeit, Greek salad and cauliflower bil tahini, falafel sandwiches, pasta salad and fried aubergine with mint, zaatar chicken salad and cauliflower bil tahini, chicken musakhan sandwiches with Arabic bread, as well as staples like traditional dates and refreshing laban. For those boarding the flight during the fast, Emirates will also be providing a smaller box at boarding gates at Iftar time, including all the essentials to break the fast.

The menu will change weekly to ensure a best-in-class dining experience during the Holy Month. The boxes will be available on flights to and from the Gulf region, as well as flights catering to Umrah groups travelling to Jeddah and Medina during Ramadan. And to ensure that Muslim passengers break their fast on time, passengers will be informed of the iftar time by the captain. Read more here.
