Eid Al Fitr in UAE: Flight fares to Increase by 100% to popular destinations

The most awaited holiday of the year is around the corner. With Eid dates announced, UAE residents have already started planning holidays to popular destinations. But, make sure you hurry up because flight prices are set to soar during the holidays. Airfares to popular tourist destinations are set to increase two fold. Here’s how much flight fares to famous destinations will cost you.

Flight Fares To Some Destinations To Soar By 100%

As per the Wizz Air website, a round-trip to Yerevan, Armenia, at present will cost you AED 750. However, during the Eid break, it goes up to over AED 1,200. Similarly, the airfare to Tirana in Albania from Abu Dhabi is AED 520 for a roundtrip, but for the long weekend, the fare is around AED 1,100. Everyone’s favourite beach destination Maldives might be cheaper now with a two-way ticket priced at AED 660. However, the fare are set to soar, reaching up to AED 1,400 during the Eid break.

Holiday packages to Caucasian countries, as per Air Arabia website start at AED 1,300. During the Eids break, this is set to soar to AED 3000. Tbilisi and Gaduari in Georgia currently remain lowest at AED 1,561 for three nights and four days. But, airfares to these countries are set increase by 100% during the break. Similarly, a package to Baku starts at AED 1,398 for three nights now, with an increase of 100% during the Eid break.
