Dubai’s New Shopping Campaign Could Win You a Free Home

Dubai residents can now enter a citywide raffle to win apartments simply by shopping at participating stores this summer

Dubai is turning everyday shopping into something much bigger this summer. The city has launched a new campaign called “Win Your Home in Dubai”, giving shoppers the chance to win real residential units by spending AED 500 at participating outlets across the emirate.

Running from May 22 to August 30, 2026, the campaign includes more than 1,000 brands and 3,500 stores across Dubai. Residents and tourists who shop during the promotion period can enter a draw for one of 12 homes, including 11 studio apartments and one luxury two-bedroom apartment.

The initiative arrives just in time for Dubai’s busiest retail season, with Eid Al Adha, Dubai Summer Surprises, and the famous 3 Day Super Sale all falling within the campaign window.

How Dubai’s “Win Your Home in Dubai” campaign works

The process is simple and designed to encourage more people to shop across participating malls and retail outlets.

Shoppers who spend AED 500 or more in a single transaction at any participating store can scan a QR code available at the outlet. They then need to upload their receipt through the campaign platform to enter the prize draw.

Every eligible purchase counts as one entry. This means shoppers who spend multiple times during the campaign can increase their chances of winning.

The campaign is open to both UAE residents and international visitors, making it one of Dubai’s largest retail promotions tied directly to property ownership.

For many residents, especially long-term expats, owning property in Dubai has always been a major financial milestone. This campaign taps directly into that aspiration while also boosting the city’s summer retail activity.

12 homes are up for grabs this summer

Unlike regular shopping raffles that usually offer cars, cash prizes, or holidays, this campaign is focused entirely on real estate.

A total of 12 residential units will be awarded throughout the campaign period.

These include:

  • 11 studio apartments
  • One grand two-bedroom apartment

The announcement has already generated strong interest across Dubai’s retail sector because of the scale of the giveaway. With property prices continuing to rise in many areas of the emirate, the idea of winning a home through everyday shopping is attracting attention from both residents and tourists.

Dubai has become known for its large-scale retail campaigns over the years, especially during Dubai Summer Surprises and festive shopping periods. However, giving away actual homes adds a completely different level of excitement.

The campaign arrives during Dubai’s biggest shopping season

The timing of the initiative is no coincidence.

Dubai’s summer calendar is packed with major retail events that usually drive huge footfall across malls and shopping districts. Eid Al Adha shopping alone typically sees residents spending on fashion, electronics, gifts, travel items, and family entertainment.

The campaign also overlaps with Dubai Summer Surprises, one of the city’s most anticipated annual shopping festivals. Massive discounts, flash sales, and limited-time promotions are expected across hundreds of participating brands.

The popular 3 Day Super Sale is also included in the campaign period, meaning shoppers could potentially score major discounts while also entering to win property.

This summer is already shaping up to be one of Dubai’s busiest retail seasons in recent years.

Dubai’s summer sales season just got bigger

For many people living in Dubai, the idea of owning property can sometimes feel out of reach because of rising living costs and property prices.

That is why this campaign feels different from a typical shopping promotion. It adds a real emotional factor to everyday spending. Something as simple as buying Eid gifts, upgrading electronics, or shopping for back-to-school essentials could suddenly turn into a property win.

The campaign also reflects Dubai’s continued focus on combining retail, tourism, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences into one ecosystem.

Over the years, Dubai has introduced increasingly creative campaigns to attract shoppers and visitors from around the world. From luxury car raffles to million-dirham giveaways, the city has built a strong reputation for turning shopping into an experience.

But a chance to win a home takes things to another level.

More shoppers are expected across malls and retail hubs

Retail experts expect the campaign to increase foot traffic across malls, especially during weekends, Eid shopping periods, and DSS events.

Families are likely to use the campaign as an added incentive while making purchases they already planned for the summer season. Tourists visiting Dubai during the holiday period may also participate, particularly those staying for extended summer vacations.

Major malls and participating retail destinations are expected to promote the campaign heavily throughout the summer months.

The combination of discounts, seasonal promotions, and the possibility of winning a home could make this one of Dubai’s most talked-about retail campaigns of 2026.

Dubai continues to redefine retail experiences

Dubai has long positioned itself as one of the world’s leading shopping destinations. Campaigns like this show how the city continues to innovate beyond traditional retail promotions.

By combining property ownership with everyday shopping, the emirate is creating a campaign that feels both aspirational and accessible.

For shoppers, it also adds a sense of excitement to ordinary spending. A grocery run, fashion purchase, or electronics upgrade could potentially become a life-changing moment.

The “Win Your Home in Dubai” campaign officially begins on May 22 and runs until August 30, 2026.
