Dubai Yoga 2026 will bring participants together for a free sunrise yoga session at The Gate in DIFC on November 29. Registration is now open, with the event set to close the 10th edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from October 31 to November 29.

The morning programme will include live music, a Yogasana champions display, breathwork and a 30-minute yoga session timed with sunrise. Participants can also stay for wellness activities and food and beverage experiences until 8am.

Dubai Yoga welcomes people of all experience levels, making it suitable for residents trying yoga for the first time as well as those who practise regularly. Yoga mats will be provided, and attendees can choose between General, Ladies Only and Family zones during registration.

What to Expect at Dubai Yoga 2026

The event will begin early, giving participants time to settle in before the sunrise session. Gates open at 5:15 am, followed by live music and a Yogasana champions display from 5:55 am to 6:25 am.

An introductory sound bath, breathwork and warm-up will take place from 6:30 am to 6:45 am. The main 30×30 sunrise yoga session will then run from 6:45 am to 7:15 am.

After the session, attendees can stay at The Gate until 8 am for music, wellness activities and food and beverage options.

The event focuses on participation rather than competition. First-time attendees do not need previous yoga experience, making it an opportunity to try a new activity in a group setting.

Dubai Yoga Marks the Final Day of Dubai Fitness Challenge

Dubai Yoga is one of the flagship events of the 10th edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from October 31 to November 29, 2026.

Launched in 2017 under the vision of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative encourages residents and visitors to complete 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days.

The 2026 programme includes several major community events. Dubai Ride takes place on November 1, Dubai Stand Up Paddle is scheduled for November 7 and 8 at Hatta Dam, and Dubai Run is set for November 22. Dubai Yoga will bring the month-long challenge to a close on November 29.

These events offer different ways to participate, whether through cycling, running, water sports or yoga.

Dubai Media Office has reported that more than 16 million people participated across the first nine editions of Dubai Fitness Challenge. The 2025 edition alone attracted more than three million participants.

Beyond the flagship events, the initiative includes Fitness Villages, Community Fitness Hubs and fitness activities across Dubai. These give residents additional opportunities to exercise throughout the challenge, even if they cannot attend the main events.

Benefits for UAE residents

Benefits for UAE residents

Dubai Yoga gives residents a free opportunity to try yoga without paying for a studio class or buying a mat for the session. The dedicated zones also help individuals, women and families choose an arrangement that suits their needs.

The event forms part of Dubai’s wider effort to make physical activity accessible beyond gyms and fitness centres. By bringing people together in a central location, it offers a chance to exercise in a group while exploring a different form of fitness.

For visitors, Dubai Yoga provides another way to experience the city beyond its usual sightseeing attractions. Those planning to attend should register in advance and check their confirmation details before travelling to DIFC.

As the final event of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026, the sunrise session also gives participants an opportunity to finish the month with a shared fitness experience.
