Disney On Ice 100 Years Of Wonder Comes To Abu Dhabi In October

No matter when and where we are born, we all have our favourite Disney characters, shows and memories. Be it Frozen or Moana or the wonders of Aladdin and Jasmine, we all have our favourites. And if you are a Disney kid and have practically watched everything they have ever produced, we have the best news for you. Disney’s famous Disney On Ice presents 100 Years of Wonder in Abu Dhabi. You can now see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and stars from Frozen, Moana, Coco, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, and more only at this annual extravaganza in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is set to turn into a magical wonderland as Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Wonder will perform live from Wednesday, October 11, to Sunday, October 15. And guess what? The tickets are already on sale on Etihad Arena’s website, with prices as low as AED84. Bronze tickets cost AED84, Silver AED168, Gold AED273 and more.

So for the love of your favourite Disney characters, you have to check out this musical in Abu Dhabi. And when it comes to events in Abu Dhabi, there’s something always happening in the capital. In fact, this month, you can check out the Abu Dhabi international book fair.  The exhibition will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) between Monday, May 22 and Sunday, May 28. 

Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism, the event is the perfect place for publishers and other creative people to collaborate, discuss, network and deliver quality cultural content together. The event this year is set to see over 15,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors from publishing houses and more. And if you are planning to visit the exhibition as a guest and for the love of books, you can participate in professional workshops, seminars, and panel discussions; besides, there will also be a pop-up bookshop selling local and international titles, screenings of regional films by Black Box Cinema, art exhibitions and more.

And if you are planning to attend the exhibition with your kids, you must know that the event will also host a kid’s programme that includes writing, drawing and science experiments. Every year the fair focuses on a specific country and personality that lets the visitors experience and understand different literary cultures. This year the focus will be on Turkey and Arab sociologist, philosopher, and historian Ibn Khaldun.
