A recent video interview with Wired has given us a delightful glimpse of the friendship between Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt. In this endearing video, Alia takes on the role of a language teacher, introducing Gal Gadot to the beauty of the Indian language Telugu.
For those who might not know, Alia had previously starred in the Pan- Indian movie RRR, which was originally shot in Telugu. The movie starrer Ram Charan and Jr NTR, where she picked up some phrases in Telugu. In the video, Alia, Gal, and Jamie engage in a candid and fun conversation, addressing some of the most searched questions on Google.
When Gal Gadot read one of the questions, “Does Alia Bhatt speak Telugu?” Alia humbly admitted that she isn’t entirely fluent in the language but has grasped a few sentences. Encouraged by Gal, Alia took the opportunity to share her linguistic skills. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress readily taught them the phrase “Andariki Namaskaram. Meeku naa muddulu,” translating to “Hello, everyone. My kisses to you all.” In a lighthearted language-learning moment, Gal successfully pronounced “Andariki Namaskaram,” while Jamie enthusiastically joined in the linguistic adventure.
