Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor, has proved his mettle in diverse roles, from comedy to intense dramas and romantic sagas. Now, exciting news is buzzing as it’s revealed that Arjun will take on the role of the antagonist in “Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgn as the lead.
The beloved franchise of Rohit’s cop universe, known for its action-packed drama, is back with a fresh addition, and fans can’t wait for the showdown. While the official announcement regarding the film’s villain is still pending, Boney Kapoor has spilled the beans about Arjun Kapoor’s role in “Singham Again.”
Is it confirmed that Arjun Kapoor enters the cop universe with singham again?
In an interview with New Indian, Boney Kapoor confirmed Arjun’s role as the antagonist in the Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s starrer. Kapoor expressed his confidence in Arjun’s capabilities and stated that the actor has signed up to portray a solo antagonist alongside Ajay Devgn.
He emphasized that Arjun is on the verge of exploring a new facet of his acting career with this character, sharing, “A film of Rohit Shetty was launched where he’s the solo villain opposite Ajay Devgn. Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are also in the film. It is Singham Again (Singham 3). Arjun is playing an antagonist for the first time. Let’s see where the film takes him.”
The shooting for the film “Singham Again” went on floors, with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh leading the cast. For the unversed, Ranveer starred in and as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop world. The addition Kareena Kapoor Khan adds to the excitement. Akshay Kumar another name for the cop universe called Sooryavanshi will hop on to give us a complete experience of the the director’s cop universe. Last year, Rohit Shetty also revealed that Deepika Padukone would be part of “Singham Again.”
Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie has got the date of 14 August 2024.
