In a world where social media influencers are constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity to capture their audience’s attention, there is always a fine line between entertaining content and inappropriate behaviour. Unfortunately, it seems like popular YouTuber Joravar Singh Kalsi crossed that line, and has now found himself in hot water with the law.
Kalsi, who is known for his comedic videos on YouTube, was recently arrested for recreating a scene from Amazon Prime’s hit series “Farzi,” which stars Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor. The scene in question involves Kapoor’s character throwing money from a car, and Kalsi attempted to recreate this stunt on the streets of Gurugram, a city in Northern India.
According to reports, Kalsi drove around the Golf Course Road of Gurugram, tossing currency notes out of his moving car in an attempt to recreate the scene from the popular web series. The video quickly went viral on social media, but it also caught the attention of the Gurugram police, who promptly arrested Kalsi for his reckless behaviour.

The 24-year-old Delhi-based influencer, who boasts over 3.5 lakh subscribers on YouTube and 342k followers on Instagram, now faces charges of rash driving, obstruction in a public way, and endangering the personal safety of others under sections 279, 283, and 336 of the Indian Penal Code. The incident has been reported to the Sushant Lok police station in Gurugram.
While Kalsi’s fans are undoubtedly disappointed by his arrest, it serves as a reminder that there are limits to what is considered acceptable behaviour, even in the name of entertainment. With “Farzi” set to return to screens soon with a second season, perhaps Kalsi will think twice before attempting to recreate any more scenes from the show.
