UAE Weather: Residents can expect more rains this week

The UAE woke up to a cloudy-rainy Tuesday morning with some parts of Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi hit by showers. Rain is expected in parts of the UAE on Tuesday, according to forecasters. The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast heavy rain in some areas — starting on Tuesday. Furthermore, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and some parts of Abu Dhabi will receive showers on Tuesday afternoon.

Overall, residents can expect a cloudy Tuesday, with scattered showers, especially in the northern and eastern areas, said NCM.

Skies will clear up on Wednesday and Thursday, but there is chance of cloud and dust during the day. The north of the country can expect light rain on both days. By midweek, driving conditions in some areas of the country will be hazardous due to winds gusting up to 45 kilometres per hour, which will exacerbate the problem of dust in the interior.

The maximum temperature in Dubai on Monday was 32°C, with a low of 20°C, while in Abu Dhabi the high was 31°C and the low was 18°C.

This week, Dubai will experience highs of up to 26°C and lows of 20°C. Tuesday will see a high of 31°C in Abu Dhabi, but the next three days will see a low of 26°C. Up until Saturday, the minimum temperature will be in the low 20s.
