RAK Natures Treasures allows you to find your inner peace in a sanctuary surrounded by nature. The natural history museum is a private collection of over 2,500 perfectly preserved gemstones, fossils, seashells, preserved insects and bugs, taxidermy animals and birds and herbs and spices from all over the world. The museum is also home to a salt room, cactus garden, reptile room, fish ponds, veggie farming, greenhouse, turtle pond, flamingo wetland, a petting zoo and miniature goat playground.
The eight-hectare inner-city farm in RAK is around an hour’s drive from Downtown Dubai. Visitors can interact with tamed animals, choose fresh produce from the farm, look through a collection of jewels, and engage in other activities to have a taste of rural life.
A towering pigeon house that is a component of the neighborhood’s petting zoo is one of its standout features. Along with a variety of birds like ostriches, flamingos, and peacocks, the farm also has horses, donkeys, sheep, turtles, and sheep.
After roaming among the animals, guests can check out the museum inside the attraction, which has a large collection of fossils and preserved insects as well as stuffed birds and other creatures.
On the farm, crops like lettuce, tomatoes, aubergines, and cucumbers are cultivated. Visitors can choose and purchase the fresh vegetables by the kilogram. Visitors can use a guide to assist them choose the best produce.
There is no requirement that a visit to the expansive arena be limited to a single day. People can reserve wooden houses on the grounds for a fee starting at AED 250 per night for one person. In true provincial tradition, guests can prepare their own cuisine in the kitchen and barbeque area.
Spending the night on the farm gives you access to additional activities like salt cave meditation, pottery making (you can take your creation home or buy ready-made ones), a tour of the cactus house, or paddling on a pond.
