The Oasis: Emaar & Shah Rukh Khan Unveil Dubai’s $20 Billion Luxury Waterfront Project

Get ready for yet another luxury destination in Dubai, as Emaar, along with Bollywood superstar and global icon- Shah Rukh Khan, launches a new $20 billion luxury waterfront project. UAE’s leading developer Emaar and the developer of projects like Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, Emaar is all set to launch a brand new lifestyle destination – The Oasis. Costing a whopping $20 billion, The Oasis is one of Emaar’s most ambitious projects to date.

The Oasis Will Offer A Resort-Style Living In Dubai

The exact location is yet to be revealed, but as per the reports, The Oasis will be around 20-25 minutes drive from Downtown Dubai. In terms of the project, once ready, The Oasis will offer the ultimate resort-style living in Dubai. Sprawling over a land area of more than 9.4 million square metres, it will house over 7,000 residential units.

In terms of residential units, residents can expect all kinds of stay options- from large mansions to spacious villas and more- there’s something for everyone. The township will offer green spaces, jogging tracks and airy spaces for recreation. Along with other high-end amenities, residents can enjoy shopping as Emaar plans to open 1.5 million square feet of retail space. The retail space will offer the best of brands, diverse restaurants and other spots for fun. The Oasis is also a golfer’s paradise with its proximity to 4 international golf courses.

The project was unveiled at Dubai’s Armani Hotel, and Shah Rukh Khan was the special guest for the event. Speaking about the Oasis, he said, “Whenever Emaar presents us with an urban marvel, it immediately follows it with another new destination that is a masterpiece in and of itself, such as The Oasis by Emaar, which we are celebrating tonight.”
