The duo recently set the internet ablaze as the cover stars of a top fashion magazine, where they spilled the beans on their oh-so-adorable love story and the proposal that has us all melting.
Siddharth’s Thoughtful Proposal for Aditi
In a heartwarming chat, Aditi revealed how Siddharth popped the question, and it’s the kind of stuff fairytales are made of. He didn’t just pick any random spot, he took her to a place deeply rooted in her heart – a school in Hyderabad founded by Aditi’s grandmother.
Aditi shared, “I was closest to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddarth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her.” So earlier this March, they travelled there together. So, earlier this March, they made the trip, and what happened next is sure to make you swoon.
Siddharth wanted to take her back to her favorite childhood spot – right above the nursery section. And then, like every romantic hero we dream of, he got down on one knee. Aditi playfully teased him, asking, “Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?” But Siddharth, with all the sincerity in the world, simply said, “Addu, listen to me.” And then, he proposed. He wanted her to have her nani’s blessings, making it a proposal that was both heartfelt and unforgettable.
How It All Began: Their First Meeting
The sparks first flew on the sets of the Telugu film Maha Samudram back in 2021. Aditi recalls their first encounter like it was yesterday. “He walked in and said, ‘Hello, beautiful girl’. Usually, when someone says something like this, it does not work. But he was being genuine. By the end of the day, he had me and pretty much everyone on the set in splits. He also ensured that my team and I had ghee idlis whipped up by his cook every day for the rest of the shoot.”
