Abu Dhabi’s list of attractions is just about to get bigger and better! The most-awaited attraction-SeaWorld is all set to open this year. Miral has revealed that SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi will open to visitors on 23 May 2023. Home to the world’s largest aquarium, the next generation marine-life facility will share knowledge and awareness of environmental conservation projects in AbuDhabi and worldwide.
The first SeaWorld outside of North America, this is the newest addition to Yas Island’s attractions, which already include Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, and Clymb Abu Dhabi.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral, the property developer behind the project said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi this May, and proud of our partnership with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment to bring the region’s next-generation marine life theme park to Abu Dhabi and to Yas Island.”

What can you expect at seaWorld abu dhabi?
The 183,000 square meter attraction is being constructed over five floors and will feature habitats, rides, interactive exhibits, and immersive guest experiences—the full scope of which has not yet been made public.
With more than 58 million liters of water and 150 species—including sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates—it will be home to an array of marine life.
In addition, hundreds of bird species, including puffins and penguins, will live in the park. Expert zoologists, veterinarians, nutritionists, and other animal specialists will be around to take care of the animals.

One Ocean, the park’s central zone, connects six marine environments, each of which tells a tale meant to highlight the interconnectedness of life on Earth and beneath the seas. This area will also boast be a 360-degree media experience.
The building will make use of rooftop solar photovoltaic systems with a combined capacity of 8.2 megawatts, according to a July announcement from Abu Dhabi’s Masdar clean energy company.
