Riyadh to Host the Region’s First Drone Racing World Cup

Riyadh is gearing up to host the first-ever Drone Racing World Cup in the Middle East, taking place from January 23 to 25, 2025. Organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, in collaboration with the World Air Sports Federation (FAI), this groundbreaking event is set to bring together top drone pilots from around the world.

The event at Boulevard Riyadh City offers three days of high-speed drone competitions and a global gathering of tech and sports enthusiasts.


A Global Competition Like No Other

This prestigious event will see 140 elite drone pilots from over 50 countries battling it out for the championship title. With drones reaching speeds of up to 350 km/h, competitors will navigate a challenging course that will test their skills, precision, and strategy. The stakes are high, with cash prizes exceeding SAR 1 million awaiting the winners.

Launching the 2025 Drone Racing World Cup series, with future rounds in Italy, Spain, South Korea, Germany, and Sweden.
