Riyadh Air Opens Ticket Sales for Daily Dhaka Flights Starting August 7

Saudi Arabia's newest airline is expanding its South Asia network with a new daily service connecting Riyadh and Dhaka from August 7, 2026.

What happened? Riyadh Air has opened ticket sales for its new daily flights between Riyadh and Dhaka, beginning August 7, 2026.

Who is affected? Travellers between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh, including business travellers, tourists, students and the large Bangladeshi expatriate community in the Kingdom.

Why does it matter? The new route strengthens air connectivity between South Asia and Saudi Arabia while supporting Riyadh’s ambitions to become a major global aviation hub.

Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing national carrier, Riyadh Air, has announced the launch of ticket sales for its new daily flights between Riyadh and Dhaka, with services scheduled to begin on August 7, 2026.

The airline will operate the route using its modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, adding another important destination to its expanding international network. The move is expected to improve travel options for passengers travelling between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh while supporting stronger business, tourism and family connections between the two countries.

Daily Riyadh-Dhaka flights begin in August

According to Riyadh Air, the new service will operate every day between King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh and Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) in Dhaka.

The published schedule is:

Riyadh to Dhaka (RX0763)

  • Departure: 9:20 pm
  • Arrival: 6:10 am (next day)

Dhaka to Riyadh (RX0764)

  • Departure: 7:40 am
  • Arrival: 10:55 am

All flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, offering Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.

Why Bangladesh is an important market?

Bangladesh has become one of South Asia’s fastest-growing aviation markets, with increasing demand for travel to the Gulf region.

Saudi Arabia is home to a large Bangladeshi expatriate community, and the new nonstop flights are expected to benefit workers, families, business travellers and religious travellers visiting the Kingdom.

Riyadh Air said the route reflects the long-standing relationship between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh and is designed to strengthen economic, tourism and people-to-people ties. The airline also expects the service to support growing trade and commercial links between both countries.

Another step in Riyadh Air’s rapid expansion

The Dhaka service forms part of Riyadh Air’s aggressive network expansion ahead of its long-term growth plans.

Over recent months, the airline has launched or announced routes to destinations including London, Dubai, Jeddah, Cairo, Madrid, Manchester, Kuala Lumpur, Málaga and Mumbai, with more cities expected to be added as additional Boeing 787-9 aircraft join the fleet.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund-backed airline has previously stated its ambition to connect Riyadh with more than 100 destinations by 2030, supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to transform tourism, aviation and global connectivity.

Better connectivity for onward international travel

Beyond direct travel between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh, the new route will also allow passengers travelling from Dhaka to connect onwards through Riyadh to destinations across Europe, the Middle East and other international markets.

Riyadh Air continues to expand its codeshare partnerships and international network, positioning Riyadh as a key transfer hub for travellers flying between Asia, Europe and beyond.

For business travellers, the route also offers improved access to Saudi Arabia’s financial and commercial centre, while leisure travellers gain another direct option to explore the Kingdom.

for UAE travellers

While the new route does not directly serve the UAE, it highlights the continued expansion of Gulf aviation and increasing competition among regional airlines.

With Riyadh Air already operating flights to Dubai and adding more destinations across South Asia, travellers in the UAE could benefit from additional regional connectivity through codeshare agreements and future network expansion.

The airline’s rapid growth also reflects wider investment across the Gulf aviation sector as countries continue strengthening tourism, trade and international travel links.
