Red Sea Airport Launches Private Aviation Terminal in Saudi Arabia

Transforming travel to Saudi Arabia's ultra-luxury destinations.

Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Airport (RSI) has officially launched its private aviation terminal, setting a new benchmark for luxury travel. Designed to cater exclusively to elite travelers visiting the Red Sea Project and Amaala, this terminal promises an experience that redefines convenience, comfort, and sustainability.

A Tailored Travel Experience

The private aviation terminal at RSI is anything but conventional. Guests enjoy seamless travel services, starting with check-ins handled directly at luxury resorts such as The St. Regis Red Sea Resort. Upon departure, travelers are transferred to bespoke pods, each equipped to provide an intimate, stress-free boarding process for up to 350 passengers.

Passengers have access to premium lounges offering refreshments and comfortable seating, making the journey as indulgent as the destination itself. This approach eliminates the hustle of traditional airports, creating a private aviation ambiance for every traveler.

Sustainability at Its Core

RSI isn’t just about luxury—it’s also a pioneer in sustainable aviation. The terminal operates entirely on renewable energy, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to eco-friendly tourism development. RSI is working towards achieving Level 4+ accreditation under the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) scheme, aiming to set global standards in carbon-neutral aviation.

Sustainable transportation options like electric vehicles, seaplanes, and yachts connect travelers to Red Sea resorts.

Enhanced Connectivity

The airport, which started domestic operations in 2023, expanded to international routes in 2024, including direct flights from Dubai. Future plans include additional global destinations, cementing RSI’s status as a hub for luxury travel.

Supporting Vision 2030

RSI’s private aviation terminal supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to become a global tourism leader. The Red Sea Development features over 16 luxury resorts and attractions, including pristine beaches, coral reefs, and exclusive islands.

The Red Sea International Airport’s world-class facilities and sustainability elevate Saudi Arabia as a must-visit destination for high-end travelers.
