Docked at a height of 1,249 metres in Al Ain, Jebel Hafeet serves as a perfect backdrop for cultural events in the region. This Ramadan, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched a new family-friendly programme with dramatic views. Eager to know more? Read on.

This Ramadan, head to Al Ain and immerse yourself in a world of wonder with ‘Ramadan at Hafeet’. The engaging three-week activation is organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), in cooperation with their strategic partner, Al Ain City Municipality.

Ramadan at Hafeet features an eclectic programme of culture, culinary delights, arts, family fun, shopping, and live entertainment – set against the backdrop of the rugged Jabel Hafeet mountain. The nightly entertainment and retail pop-ups all represent the joys of UAE culture and Al Ain’s spirit.

The fun-filled Ramadan event will offer roaming artists such as compelling Hakawati storytellers, puppet shows and a Tarabish band, alongside on-stage musical performances. Visitors can enjoy popular international and homegrown food kiosks, as well as retail pop-ups at the Ramadan Souk, with endless entertainment for friends and families spending time together over Ramadan.

The Ramadan at Hafeet activation will remain open for three weeks- throughout Ramadan, taking place 9.00 pm to 3.00 am daily at Green Mubazzarah, Jabel Hafeet.

Visitors can Indulge in an exclusive food experience at the ‘Jalst Ramadan’ section. Located on an elevated platform, the dining concept is designed for optimal comfort and ideal for – those seeking a special evening to unwind and enjoy the overall ambiance of Ramadan.

General admission is priced at AED 10 per person for ages five years and up, with free parking and access to the Ramadan Village. A limited number of VIP Lounge tables are available and fully redeemable packages range from AED 600 (for a four-person table) to AED 1,200 (for eight persons).
