4 Ramadan Markets To Visit In Dubai In 2023

The holy month of Ramadan is about to begin, and while the days pass by fasting, nights are usually for feasts, gatherings and markets. And if you are looking for some Ramadan markets in Dubai, here are four markets you must add to your list. Each one of them has something unique to offer in terms of shows, food and shopping that will make your Ramadan even more special.

  1. Expo Souk: Expo City 2020 is set to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and has launched a festival- Hai Ramadan. You can visit Expo City and enjoy Hai Ramadan till April 22. Timings for Ramadan are- 5 PM to 2 AM. From fine dining experience to food trucks, iftar and suhoor experience, Expo has got you covered for everything. It will also have children’s workshop activities and games, retail markets, sweets and more. For prayers, you will be able to access a dedicated mosque on site for all prayers, including Isha and the later Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers. The best thing is that entry is free, and one has to pay for food, activities and other things.

2. Ramadan Souq event, Old Municipality Street, Deira: Running till March 15th, from 10 AM to 8 PM, this souq aims to promote the heritage, traditions, authenticity, and customs of preparing for the holy month of Ramadan in Dubai. Launched by Dubai Municipality, you can shop for traditional male and female apparel, gold, food items, utensils, perfumes and more. The event has a traditional souq and mini souq with 20 kiosks. Additionally, 15 kiosks are allocated for shops on Old Municipality Street and five stalls for supporting local Emirati initiatives. If you are still prepping for Ramadan, this market is perfect for you.

3. Souk Al Marfa: Located on the Dubai Creek, Souk Al Marfa is the largest market in the heart of Dubai, and it gets even better during the holy month of Ramadan. From entertainment activities to shopping for clothes and food, there are tons of things that you can do here. Once you break the fast and enjoy Iftar, you can head here and make the most of your Ramadan nights. Timings and other details will be updated shortly; stay tuned!

4. Night Market At Al Seef: Located at Dubai Creek, Al Seef has a massive Ramadan night market where you can go for iftar dinner and retail therapy.
