The Pre-Order Onboard Meals Feature Will Roll Out On July 25
Customers can now pre-order their onboard meals, and this feature will be available from 25 July onwards in Business Class on all flights between Dubai and London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and London Stansted, adding even more benefits to the Emirates customer experience. The onboard meal ordering option will be an add-on to the existing suite of AI-enabled customer preference tracking data and cabin crew reports, which will let the team plan menus, and load food to deliver the premium ‘restaurant in the sky’ inflight dining experience.
The pre-order onboard meals feature is available to business-class passengers who can pre-order the meals up to 14 days before a flight. Head to Emirates.com or on the Emirates app, browse the menu and choose from a selection of regionally inspired dishes with locally sourced ingredients. Passengers can also pre-order special meals if required.
For now, this new feature will be available on select flights only; however, Emirates plans to expand this initiative to more routes and classes in the near future and is closely monitoring customer feedback from the initial rollout phase.

Besides the onboard meals, the airline recently launched an on-demand regional charter service. Yep, you read that right! To make travel more comfortable, you can rent a private Emirates charter for short trips in the GCC from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). The charter service offers flexibility, convenience, privacy and comfort, making it perfect for short trips.
Emirates Charter Can Seat Uptown 4 Passengers
Operated by Emirates Airline’s Phenom 100 twin-engine aircraft, customers can charter the jet to a wide range of GCC destinations both within and outside of the Emirates network, with quick turnarounds to points in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and within the UAE*.
The aircraft seats up to four passengers. Travellers on board can enjoy a well-stocked hamper of light bites and refreshments. For baggage requirements, each passenger can check in one medium-sized bag weighing up to 15 kilograms, in addition to a carry-on handbag. And if you have any special request, you can get in touch with your assigned booking representative or travel agent.
