Saudi Arabia launches Nusuk Umrah platform for international pilgrims

A new digital platform allows global Umrah pilgrims, including those travelling from the UAE, to manage visas, accommodation and transport with ease.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has rolled out a new digital service called Nusuk Umrah, designed to simplify the journey for international pilgrims. The platform brings together every stage of the pilgrimage process—from visa applications to hotel reservations and ground transport—into one central portal.

For UAE residents who frequently travel for Umrah, this service marks a significant step forward in convenience and planning. Instead of relying solely on traditional agents, pilgrims can now handle their entire itinerary through an official government-backed system.

One platform for every step

The platform serves as a single window for pilgrims across the world. Travellers can apply for their Umrah visa online, book hotels close to the holy sites, arrange transport between cities, and secure additional services, all in a matter of minutes.

By reducing dependence on multiple agencies, Nusuk Umrah gives pilgrims greater control and transparency when arranging their trip.

Tailored packages for UAE pilgrims

Pilgrims from Dubai and other emirates often travel in groups or with family. The platform caters to this by offering both full travel packages and à-la-carte options. Users can select a ready-made itinerary or customise their journey to include accommodation, cultural tours and other services that suit personal needs.

Multilingual and user-friendly design

Recognising the diversity of visitors, Nusuk Umrah operates in multiple languages and supports different payment methods. The interface has been developed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that users of all ages can navigate the process without difficulty.

Supporting Vision 2030

The introduction of Nusuk Umrah is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims to increase the number of pilgrims and enhance the quality of services provided. For Dubai-based professionals, this means greater efficiency and a smoother travel experience each time they perform Umrah.

Ease for Dubai travellers

For residents in the UAE, where digital services are already a way of life, the launch of Nusuk Umrah resonates strongly. It allows busy professionals to arrange their pilgrimage directly, without the time constraints often associated with traditional booking channels.

Saudi Arabia has streamlined the process, making travel for Umrah from Dubai more accessible and seamless.

Nusuk Umrah is more than just a booking tool; it reflects a wider shift towards digital solutions in religious tourism. By simplifying visas, travel, and accommodation, the platform enables Dubai’s residents to focus on the spiritual essence of their journey rather than the logistics.
