If yes, you must head to Abu Dhabi in June since the 7th edition of the Korean Film Festival is set to return to the capital in the second week of June. Running between Thursday, June 8, and Sunday, June 11, this year’s festival theme is Companionship. Excited already? Read on for all the deets.

The 4-Day Film Festival Will Screen 8 Korean Movies
Organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) in the UAE, eight films will be screened at Vox Cinema in Yas Mall between June 8th and June 11th. As per the press release issued by KCC, this year’s theme aims to showcase the power of friendship and the deep emotional resonance found in Korean cinema. The festival will kickstart with LEE Jung Jae’s Hunt (2022). The full schedule of the films is as follows:

Hunt: 8th June (Thursday) at 7 PM.
Mission: Possible: 9th June (Friday) at 5 PM.
The Night Owl: 9th June (Friday) at 7 PM.
Pororo and Friends: Virus Busters: 10th June (Saturday) at 3 PM.
Confession: 10th June 10 (Saturday) at 5 PM.
Confidential Assignment 2: International: 10th June (Saturday) at 7 PM.
Fanatic: 11th June (Sunday) at 5 PM.
Alienoid Part 1: 11th June (Sunday) at 7 PM.
The 7th edition of the film festival promises to be an impressive cinematic experience, showcasing the rich storytelling, exhilarating performances, and emotional depth that Korean films are renowned for.
