Abu Dhabi ruler and UAE President, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, turns 62 today. Born in Al Ain, he is the third son of Sheikh Zayed and became the president and ruler in May 2022. Here are five unseen pictures of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan that celebrate this life.

1. Schooling Life In Abu Dhabi & Al Ain

The third son of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was educated at schools in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi until the age of 18.

2. Military Training At Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

The UAE president and Abu Dhabi ruler has acquired training in armour, helicopter flying, tactical flying, and paratroops at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, which he joined in 1979.

3. Learned Hobbies From His Father

He inherited hobbies like hunting and falconry from his father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE.

4. Flair For Poetry

He also has a flair for poetry recitals, especially the Nebati style of poetry, which is native to the region.

5. Adopted 2 Daughters

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed married Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan bin Mohamed Al Nahyan in 1981, and they were blessed with four sons and five daughters. He also adopted two daughters, Amina and Salha.
