Word on the street is that the two might be calling it quits, with rumours flying that Govinda is allegedly seeing a 30-year-old Marathi actress. Before you start freaking out, there’s no solid proof, and neither Govinda nor Sunita has come forward with any “yes, it’s true” statements. However, their managers and lawyers seem to be revealing details.
Govinda & Sunita Ahuja’s divorce – Happening or not?
The first shocker? Govinda’s lawyer, Lalit Bindal, has CONFIRMED that divorce papers were filed six months ago! But before you assume it’s over, he also claimed that the matter was resolved and the couple is still together. So, what’s really going on?
Meanwhile, Sunita Ahuja’s manager, Sadia Solkar, completely shut down the divorce rumors, saying in a statement, “This is not true.” Contradictions much? Looks like Bollywood’s he-said, she-said game is in full swing!

Did Sunita Ahuja’s Interviews Spark The Rumors?
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, seems to think so! He pointed fingers at Sunita’s recent interviews, saying that her statements might have added fuel to the fire. He shared, “Sunita ji’s comments in her recent interviews have led to these rumours. She might have said a bit too much.”
Remember when Sunita Ahuja dropped the bomb saying, “Mujhe Govinda jaisa pati nahi chahiye” (I don’t want a husband like Govinda in my next life)? Well, turns out, she also said she’d love a son like him. But of course, the first part went viral while the second was ignored.
Another eyebrow-raising moment? When Sunita mentioned Govinda was with his Valentine on Valentine’s Day – cue the rumours of an affair. Bindal stated, “Like when she said ‘mujhe Govinda jaisa pati nahi chaiye’ (I don’t want Govinda as my husband in my next birth), she also added that she wanted a son like him. Or when she said he was with his own valentine, she meant he was working. It is unfortunate that people are only talking negatively about them when the couple is together. I can assure you that they will always be. No divorce is going to happen.”
Still Together or Living Apart?
Another wild rumour making rounds was that the couple was living separately. But, Govinda’s lawyer came through with some facts – Govinda owns a bungalow opposite their old home, but it’s apparently just for work meetings. While he does stay there sometimes, the couple is still living together. Sounds like an awfully convenient arrangement.
If Govinda’s lawyer is to be believed, this is all just overhyped drama and the couple is going strong. But with all these mixed signals, the truth remains a mystery. One thing’s for sure—Bollywood’s most entertaining couple has now become the biggest topic of gossip!
