dubai to get the World’s First Supermodel Robot Cafe In 2023

Dubai has always been futuristic when it comes to technology and transport. Recently, we heard about the city using robots for delivery food. The test-run is underway in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis. But, it looks like the city isn’t stopping there! Very soon, Dubai-aites will be served by robots. Yes, you read that right! Dubai will soon have a cafe where supermodel robots will serve dinner for guests. Curios to know more? Read on.

The robots will speak to customers, take selfies & even narrate a fairy tale

Donna Cyber-Cafe is set to open in Dubai this year, with a ‘supermodel’ robot serving coffees and ice creams to customers, without the help of any humans.

Donna, who was designed to be the exact replica of Eastern European model Diana Gabdullina, will provide prompt service and even be able to engage clients in conversation, take pictures, and tell tall tales when requested.

With the help of the astounding new droid, Donna will be able to read customers’ emotions and behave in an eerily realistic manner. The robot can portray a variety of micro expressions and has silicone skin and eyes that are incredibly realistic.

She has a “easygoing, feminine” personality, can be “a bit sardonic,” but is “of course, a responsible employee of the cyber cafe,” according to Donna’s creators, whose components are from Russia.

The robot is a Robo-C2, a humanoid robot that mimics human characteristics such as appearance, speech, emotion expression, and social interaction.

The cafe, which will be open 24/7, will have a soft-serve ice-cream machine, a soft drink dispenser and a coffee machine with items being served to customers by robotic arms.

Customers will then pay at a self-service terminal.

Robo-C2 has seen a huge rise in popularity after gaining traction on TikTok.
